From streamside setbacks,  countywide zoning, and open lands, there a a lot of issues to be informed about. Each of these issues not only affect your business but also your families, friends and fellow property owners.      

            The following are ways that you and your associates can get involved. Each school district has a community planning committee (CPC’S) these committees meet and make suggestions about zoning in their area for the planning department to submit to the planning firm hired for the countywide project. Streamside setback committees are always accepting comments and attendance to their meetings.

            Also this year is an election year in which we have a county commissioner race and many statewide races that will greatly influence our industry.
