Broker Renewal Form Salesperson Renewal Form
Members if you are a broker now whether you are supervising or not when you renew your license with the Board of Realty Regulations be sure to complete the coupon at the bottom of the application or renewal forms as a supervising broker. This will grandfather you into the system. If you in the future do decide to become a supervising broker you will not be required to complete the 8 hour ce class. You will however be required to take the 4 hours of credit every year as part of the 12 required classes.
The proposed supervisory broker class will be 8 hours in length and will be required of all non grandfathered brokers seeking the supervisory endorsement. It is hoped that the class will be offered in conjunction with the Rookie Class.
In order to maintain the endorsement, it is currently proposed that 4 of the 12 CE hours be taken in a supervisory broker related course. Approved providers will develop and put on these supervisory related broker classes. These classes will not be put on by the Board.
An example of this type of class would be the Connole-Morton Broker management course approved for 12 hours by the Board's education Committee on March 1, 2007
This information is being brought to you from Stephen White the new Education Director at the Board of REALTY Regulation

Members the deadline for renewal which includes the completion of all continuing Education Credits is October 31, 2007. Licensees not meeting this requirement, for whatever reason, will enter a 45 day lapsed status. Within this period they must complete all their CE Credits, pay a late fee (100% of renewal fee), and pay their renewal fee. On December 14, 2007 the licensees who have still failed to meet the above requirements will enter a two (2) year expired status. All licensees who feel their CE Credit was not reported properly will be able to appeal their individual cases to the Board. It is the responsibility of the licensee to take and have their CE recorded in a timely manner. Last minute efforts may not be rewarded. A licensee with a lapsed license will be allowed to practice, a licensee with an expired license will NOT be allowed to practice.
